Operations begin for Tree Tops Canopy Tour

6 06 2009

LANSING, WV.  Adventure West Virginia opens operations for the Tree Tops Canopy Tour.   It is the first truly Bonsai Built canopy tour installation project from design, installation and all the way through canopy tour guide training.

Tree Tops Canopy Tour is the original mile-long canopy tour in West Virginia!  It features 10 zip lines (up to a 950′ long!), 5 bridges, and 1 rappel that nestle within the old growth hemlock and hardwoods forest above Mill Creek Canyon.  Take a look at the AWV sneak peak of local outdoor enthusiasts riding high through the canopy tour.

New Hampshire Chronicle Reports on Bretton Woods Canopy Tour and Ski Area

3 02 2009

This is a great view of the canopy tour that really shows the scope of this project and the beauty of the Bretton Woods Ski Area.  Ski Area Canopy Tours are quickly catching on as summer activities, but Bretton Woods seems to have broken the mold.  Very few venues would be able to operate during the cold winter months but ski area visitors are prepared to be in cold environments, in relatively good shape and don’t mind 40 mile per hour wind in their faces.  In short they came to play in the woods in the snow.
